Character Artist
As a Character artist at Alpha Channel Inc., you’ll be making the wide range of interesting enemies, narrative characters and other inhabitants of our amazing worlds
Responsibilities Include:
Working closely with the Art Director to ensure models meet the required visuals and quality
Collaborating with the Design and Concept teams to create a diverse cast of characters
Working closely with the tech art team to ensure character designs rig and deform well in-game and meet technical performance guidelines
Build clean topology with high consideration for animation
Qualifications
Excellent hard surface modelling and sculpting skills
Able to interpret concepts and add your own creativity to fill in any blanks
Superior knowledge of anatomy and posing
Eye for detail and an ability to create believable characters that are full of life
Knowledge of high to low poly workflow
Experience authoring detailed Maya, ZBrush, Fusion, Blender and Substance (or equivalent packages)
3+ Year’s of experience
Nice to have
Traditional art background (Painting, drawing, sculpting)
Knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 or 5
Basic knowledge of Rigging and animation
Knowledge of Material creation
JIRA Experience
