As a Technical Lead at Alpha Channel Inc., you will be responsible for leading, developing and maintaining the entire technical stack from concept to production and to release. You will be involved day to day with all aspects of production across the technical stack and variety of programming disciplines

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading and working with the programming teams to develop and maintain a cohesive vision for the company and projects

  • Oversee & handle integrations of code across a variety of branches using Perforce and Git

  • Engine and Game optimizations to ensure that different systems are behaving correctly and performing within their allocated performance budges

  • Be aware of the latest changes happening across a variety of branches

  • Mentoring junior and senior members of the team

  • Developing features in the engine and porting them to a variety of PC’s and consoles.

  • Tool’s creation to ensure the programming team and artists can work efficiently

Qualifications:

  • You have previous experience working on game engines, whether it be public or private engines

  • Extensive experience with C++ and C#

  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery systems

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Able to work autonomously with no supervision

  • Passionate about mentoring programmers and artists

  • Passionate about high performing code

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine 4 or 5

  • Experience Developing for modern PC’s and consoles

  • Experience profiling performance and memory

  • Leading small to medium sized tech teams

  • JIRA Experience
